About the course:
This is an applied course on data analysis. In the course, participants will acquire skills to read data files from various formats, perform data wrangling, data management and data visualization. In addition to that, they will learn to run and interpret common general and generalized liner models in R software. The main objective is to help participants quickly acquire skills to use R. Statistical notation and formulae will be kept at minimum.
About R and RStudio:
R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. R is an integrated suite of software facilities for data manipulation, calculation and graphical display. It includes an effective data handling and storage facility, a large, coherent, integrated collection of intermediate tools for data analysis and graphical facilities for data analysis.
RStudio is an integrated development environment (IDE) for R. It includes a console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, as well as tools for plotting, history, debugging and workspace management.
